Detox Your Body With A Fasting Cleanse



Fasting has been practiced since ancient times and is recognized for its health and spirit benefits. There are several types of fasting. One of these is the juice/ water fast. There are many negative stereotypes concerning fasting. People need to be made aware of the many fasting cleanse benefits.

Fasting is as easy as it sounds, and it is very hard at the same time. 

It is easy because you really just need to stop eating solid food, and start drinking filtered water and/or a light juice (apple, white grape, cranberry) diluted with filtered water.  The juice should be taken in small quantities at one time. 

The hard part is not eating in the first two or three days (it is not advisable to fast longer than two to three days without a doctor's supervision).  The second hardest part is coming off of the fast.  You must do this slowly, you will be tempted to eat a lot, if you do it will be very uncomfortable.  Just go slowly and do what feels right.

Fasts can last from a few hours, to 120 days.  Anything over a day or two should be supervised by a doctor and a person experienced in fasting.
